Dragonflies are the mortal enemy of mosquitoes and during there flight they generate sound frequencies between 67 Hz and 45Hz (depending upon their size) .So ,In those frequencies ,56Hz is a good average number.

Your Computer Speakers will work well for this Purpose. There are many Sound and tone generator programs available on internet for both the Windows and Mac .Just Setup the computer with Sound/tone generator Program running and play the sound through Computer Speakers which can be aimed directionally for complete room coverage .
Sound level on the speakers should be adjusted so that it is barely audible audible . This arrangement can be setup in a bedroom where you would like to have the window open but are worried about mosquitoes. One speaker should be fairly close to where you are sleeping .

Facebook Pro Searching | Facebook Search Tips and Tricks

With over 350 Million registered users and millions of pages, groups and applications, it is becoming increasingly hard to find the right information on Facebook. Gladly, there are ways to enhance your Facebook search experience and do it like a pro. Here are some great tips and tricks to get you started:

1. How to search for people on Facebook easily:

Firstly, if you are searching for a person, start your search with user: or people: or name:. These tags tell Facebook that you are only looking for a person and are not interested in groups or applications. You can narrow down these searches by appending the age range and company name.
For example we want to look for a person called Tim who is somewhere between 20 and 23 and works for Apple. We would enter the search query:
user: Tim y1: 20 y2: 23 company: apple

2. Search Multiple terms at a time:

You can combine two search terms by adding the | sign between the terms. For example, you want to search for people who are named Tim Johnson as well as people who are named Michael Jordan. You will enter the search query as:
Tim Johnson | Michael Jordon
Simlarly You can also search Facebook for two, three, four, or more things at once by adding the “|” sign (minus the quotation marks) between the terms.

3. Narrow down your search:

If you can’t remember all these tags, simply enter the keyword in the search box and once you have the results, narrow them down by clicking on events, groups, applications, pages e.t.c.

4. How to find classmates or coworkers on Facebook:

If nothing else works, do remember that Facebook has special search options to find your old classmates and coworkers on Facebook. Classmate search allows you to search by High school or college while Coworker search lets you search by the company name.

5. How to search Facebook for content:

If you are searching for content on Facebook, do remember that you can narrow it down by posts from friends: and posts from everyone. You can either use these tags in the search bar or narrow down your results once they are displayed.
Hopefully these tips will help you search Facebook more efficiently and smartly. We would love to hear other Facebook search tips from you!

Top 5 Google Shortcuts and Search Operators

There is certainly no need for a lengthy introduction to this post. We all know that Google has some extremely useful shortcuts and advanced search operators. If used properly while conducting a search, they can save precious time and bring us directly to the information we seek.
Below you will find a list of the top five Google shortcuts and search operators that I feel save me the most time on a regular basis. I list out each operator or shortcut, its purpose, and examples of its use. The list is in reverse order, saving the best for last.
5.  Define: -  Provides short definitions for words, acronyms, or common phrases. Google aggregates this info from other websites and links the definitions to their original source.  This operator can be extremely handy when you need the rough meaning of a word in an instant.
4.  Address, city, state: –  A quick and dirty shortcut for mapping out a physical address using Google Maps.  Once the address is mapped out, Google Maps provides you with “to” and “from” shortcuts that can be used to create driving directions.  With all my recent business travel, this shortcut has saved hours of my life that would have otherwise been spent on MapQuest… which makes MapQuest obsolete.
3. Site: - Used for concentrating a Google search on a single website or domain name.  There are so many websites out there with flawed search functionality or no search capability at all.  This operator is the solution for saving time when you need to find a certain piece of information on an unorganized website.
  • Examples:
    2. Filetype: -   Filters a search result so that it only includes documents of a specific file format.  Say you are conducting research online and need to find whitepapers that are typically stored in PDF format, this simple Google operator is the answer… a true time saver for online research.
    1. Allinanchor: -  Conducts a search based on keywords used strictly in the anchor text, or linking text, of third party sites that link to the web pages returned by the Google search.  In other words, this operator filters your search results in a way such that Google ignores the actual textual content of the web pages, but instead bases the search result relevance on the keywords other sites use to reference it.  This search operator can help you save large quantities of time when a normal textual based search query does not fetch the information you desire.  Sometimes you can get a better idea of the content located within a website by reading how the mass refers to that site’s content.

10 Cool YouTube URL Tricks You Might Not Know About

Youtube is world’s most popular online video community allowing millions of people to discover, watch and share originally created videos. You can upload your own videos and watch videos uploaded by other videos for free. YouTube contains varieties of videos uploaded thousands of hours by millions of users.Viewing and sharing videos on YouTube is also free. You can call YouTube as the video bank too.
The youtube video experience is good by itself  but we even got some cool tricks to make the video experience even more better with the help of adding some codes to youtube video URL.

    1. Watch YouTube video in high quality

Generally YouTube videos are in normal quality, sometimes it allows you to switch some of your videos in high quality. Add &fmt=18 or &fmt=22 at the end of your youtube video video URL on address bar of your browser to switch between the different qualities for your youtube video.
For instance your youtube video URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aRIlnQzw-A then add &fmt=18 at the end of the video URL so that it looks like  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aRIlnQzw-A&fmt=18 to view your youtube video in High Quality.

    2. Embed youtube video in high quality

Like viewing the YouTube video in high quality there is also the option to embed that video outside youtube in high quality. Append &ap=%2526fmt%3D18 or &ap=%2526fmt%3D22 to the embed part of video URL.
For example the video source inside the video embed code is http://www.youtube.com/v/0aRIlnQzw-A then add&ap=%2526fmt%3D18 to all places in the video embed code and make it look like http://www.youtube.com/v/0aRIlnQzw-A&ap=%2526fmt%3D18 and save the embed code. Now be ready to watch the embedded youtube video in high quality.

    3. Enable autoplay in embedded video

After you take your player to autoplay mode of your embedded video, your video gets loaded itself with the load of the page and starts playing itself without the hit on the play button by the user. Its the best way to keep your viewers active.
To add this cool feature to player of your embedded youtube video, Just add &autoplay=1 to the video URL on the embed code of your youtube video like in 2 and save the code.

    4. View regional blocked video

This trick can be also called the trick to watch the youtube in full browser window mode but also allows you watch some regional blocked videos.  For instance your youtube video URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aRIlnQzw-A then make it to http://www.youtube.com/v/0aRIlnQzw-A in the address bar and Enjoy the video.

    5. View videos in 3D

This is a new feature added by youtube, It allows you to watch youtube videos in 3D. The uploaded video should have been taken from both right and left angles so that it will work as 3D. Of course you should need a 3D glass to view that.
To view the youtube video in 3D, add &yt3d:enable=true to the end of your youtube video URL on the browser address bar and Enjoy the 3D video wearing the 3D glass.

    6. Add loop to embedded video

once you add loop to your embedded video, the video will get automatically played again after the video reaches the end. To add loop feature to your embedded video, add &loop=1 to the end of the video URL in your embed code of the video.

    7. Embed only a part of video

Suppose you got a 5 minutes long video and you want to show that video to other people starting from first 30 seconds because the first 30 seconds might be boring. So  add &start=30 to the embed of that video to skip the first 30 and make the video start from 31 second when a user hits play button. Its format is &start=, here refers to the number of seconds you want to skip in that particular video.

    8. Jump to Specific part of video

Make the youtube video play from the same time you want to show. Add #t=10m12s to the end of your youtube video URL in your browser and make the video load from 10 minute and 12 seconds. Its useful while you are sending the youtube video link to your friend to show something important occurred on some time inside that video.

    9. Disable related videos in player

Suppose you have embedded some video to your blog related to some installation and you didn’t want to show other related videos might be of other authors after the video ends. So to disable that, add &rel=0 to the embed code of your video.

    10. Hide search box in player

A search box is appears on your youtube embedded video player when users hover that embedded video. To hide that search box from your embedded video player, add &showsearch=0 to the embed code of your youtube video and disable the search box.

5 Things you don't Know Google Cloud Do !!

Google is widely known as the Internet’s best search engine. Everybody with access to the internet uses Google at some point to find something (or many things) on the web for a particular web page, or a certain piece of information.
However, Google has several built in functions that will help you make your searches more successful, and to enable you to spend less time searching. I have written a post about some tricks that will help you with your image search and that will ‘give you the power’ to Find Images by Exact Dimensions, File Type or From Specific Website. That should make your search for new wallpapers that perfectly fit to your screen resolution as easy as walk in a park.

But today I’ve decided to expand that post and to tell you about a list of 5 functions that you did not know before (I think), all accessible from the main Google search box (frontpage), which will help youfind every piece of information you are looking for.

    1. Removing unwanted (unrelated) results:

    google-search-tips
Ever searched for something before, and had a whole list of completely irrelevant web pages come up? This is annoying at the best of times, as it takes time to check and read through the list of sites and find the one you actually want.
For example, if you were looking for a review of the book “Harry Potter” (whatever part of it), and you typed into Google “Harry Potter review”, many of the links listed are reviews of the movie, not the book. Because you are not looking for a review of the movie, you can remove all pages related to the movie by adding “-movie” to the end of your search terms.
This will now display all the pages relevant to “Harry Potter review“, but not relevant to ” Harry Potter movie”.

    2. Use Google as an excellent Calculator:

    google-search-calculator
Google can be used as a calculator, answering anything from the simplest math to the most complex equation. Just enter your math question, and Google will display the answer. (Damn, I wish I knew this earlier)
+ is used to add terms- to subtract terms* to multiply terms, and / to divide terms. Besides these basic operators, you can use ^ to work out something to the power of something (for example, “2^4” would be 2 to the power of 4), and “sqrt (without quotation marks) to calculate the square root of a number (for example, “sqrt 4” would be the square root of 4).

    3. Find Dictionary Definitions

google-search-dictionaryBy typing “define:” before a word, Google will retrieve and display a list of dictionary definitions for that word. Very useful function…

    4. Search A Single Website

    google-search-site
If you type “site:” and then a website after a search term, Google will search for your term(s) in only the site dictated. For example, the following search will search the keyword “Windows 7″ only this blog.

    5. Search for A Specific File Type:

    google-search-filetype
As I am sure you are aware, there are many files hosted on the internet besides the standard ‘html websites’. Therefore, searching for a specific type of file could make your search a lot easier. For example, if you were looking for a PDF version of the iPhone manual, you could use the following search, which would produce more accurate (and less) results.
Here the “filetype:” tool is making Google search the web for PDF files only, therefore eliminating any pages that we didn’t want to see.
These are just 5 useful functions that Google can perform, there are many more for you to discover, and they can all be mixed and matched! If you know some more functions post them in comments and share with others. I hope this helped you to find that ever-elusive page or snippet of info. Have fun, and happy searching!

Google Search Tricks | Google hack

In our days, Google become an indispensable search tool for millions of people. We use it many times a day, from everywhere: from work, home or school; for researches, amusement or for looking up movies and celebrities to news and gossip. But is not sufficient to type in a phrase a few words in, and changing your query until you find what you’re looking for. There are different ways to make your searches more efficient.
Maybe, you know already about some of these, maybe others are lesser-known, or others
are known but not often used. Anyway, learn more about, or be reminded of, some
of the best ways to get exactly and quickly what you’re looking for.

Or. Google normally searches for pages that contain all the words you type in the search box, if you enter two words, it means you’re looking for pages that include both those words: word one and word two, in this case use the OR operator or use the “|” symbol (pipe symbol). Do not forget the OR has to be capitalized.
    Example: internet marketing OR advertising.

Quotes. When you’re searching for an exact phrase, you won’t get the best results simply by entering all the words in the phrase as your query. When you want to search for an exact phrase, you should enclose the entire phrase in quotation marks. This tells Google to search for the precise keywords in the prescribed order.
Example: “internet marketing”, in this case will be find only that exact phrase. [software "internet marketing"] will find pages that contain the word software and the exact phrase “internet marketing”.

Not. If you do not want a term or phrase, use the “-” symbol. [-internet marketing]. Now Google will find only the pages that contain “marketing”.

Similar words and Synonyms. If you want to include a word in your search, but want to find results that contain similar words or synonyms, use the “~” symbol.
    Example: [internet marketing ~strategies].
Google will get you pages that contain “internet marketing strategies” and “internet marketing techniques”.

Wildcard: Sometimes you want to research a phrase, but you don’t know the exact wording, in this case use the wild-card (“*”) symbol. This is useful if you’re trying to find the lyrics to a song, but can’t remember the exact lyrics.Example: [* in the Sky With Diamonds]
will return the Beatles song ” Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds”. You can insert more than one asterisk in place of more than one word in your search phrase.

    Advanced search
. If you don’t remember all these operators, you can use Google’s advanced search that offers to you different searches in various combinations.

    Definitions
. If you need to get quickly a definition of a word or phrase, simply use the “define:” command.
    Example: [define: internet]
will give you a list of definitions from different source.

    Calculator.
Sometimes, you need to do a quick calculation, you can just type your expression in to Google. It is faster than calling up your computer’s calculator.
    Example: [34456* 23]
also you can use +,- , / symbols.

    Number ranges
. It’s a very useful tip that find results that contain any of a range of numbers.
    Example: [mp3 player 30..70]
    will match 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70GB mp3 players and any other number in-between.

    Backlinks.
Google allows you to find backlinks by using the link-operator.
    Example: [link:amazon.com]
will find all the pages that link to www.amazon.com.

    Vertical search
. You may get better results by using one of Google’s more specialized search sites. These include:

Movies. Use the “movie:” operator to search for a movie title, also you can enter the zip code of your city and state to find a list of movie theaters in the area and show times.

    Music
    . Use [music:]

Unit converter. Google can also be used as an unit converter.
    Example: [10 meters in yards].

Types of numbers. Special searches by number types include:
    Area Code Map: [ 213 ]
    Flight Tracking Information: [ united 52 ]
    Vehicle Id Number: [JH4NA1157MT035832]
    Patent Numbers: [ patent 5115613 ]
    UPC Codes: [ 036256250015 ]
    Airplane Registration Numbers” [ n189ua ]

File types. If you’re looking to find results that are of a specific type ( PDF files, Word documents, or Excel) you can use the “filetype:” operator.

    Similar Pages.
Use Google’s “related:” operator to display pages that are in some way similar to the specified page.
    Example: [related:http://www.download.com].

Use Gmail to send E-mails to Multiple Address | Manage all mails using Gmail

     Gmail Trick :
In this post I am going to show you how to use your Gmail account to send and receive emails from multiple addresses. Most of us own more than one email account say for example, one fromGmail, one from Yahoo and one from Hotmail. If you are tired of logging into multiple accounts to check your inbox or to send emails, I have a solution here Gmail has an option to integrate multiple email accounts (email addresses) into a single Gmail account. Once you integrate multiple email addresses into your Gmail account, you can use the same account to send emails from different addresses and receive emails for different addresses. Let’s take a simple example
Suppose you have three email addressess (email accounts)
    1. paksource@gmail.com
    2. paksource@yahoo.com
    3. paksource@hotmail.com
You can integrate the emails paksource@yahoo.com and paksource@hotmail.com to paksource@gmail.com and operate all the three accounts from your single gmailaccount. Here is a step-by-step procedure to do this.
    1. Login to your gmail account.
    2. Click on Settings at the top right corner.
    3. Under Settings, click on Accounts tab.
    4. Now you’ll see the first option “Send mail as:
    5. Under this option, click on Add another email address you own
    6. Now a small new window will pop-up asking you to enter the details of your new email address.
    7. Here you can enter any name and any email address. The email address need not belong to gmail only. You can enter your yahoo, hotmail or any other valid email address.
    8. A Verification email will be sent to the address that you specify. Once you verify that you own the email address, it will be integrated to your Gmail account.

Now when you compose a new email, you’ll see an option to select from multiple address to send the mail. Also you’ll receive the incoming mails for multiple addresses to a single mailbox. I hope this will benefit you.
Before you leave, I should also tell you one good advantage of this. According to Gmail privacy policy, they will not send the user’s IP address in the outgoing emails. That means when you send an email from your Gmail account , the receiver will not be able to find out your IP address. But you don’t have this advantage in Yahoo or other email providers.

Please share your opinions through comments. I hope this helps….

How to use Google for Hacking | Google Hacking

Google serves almost 80 percent of all search queries on the Internet, proving itself as the most popular search engine. However Google makes it possible to reach not only the publicly available information resources, but also gives access to some of the most confidential information that should never have been revealed. In this post I will show how to use Google for exploiting security vulnerabilities within websites. The following are some of the hacks that can be accomplished using Google.

    1. Hacking Security Cameras

There exists many security cameras used for monitoring places like parking lots, college campus, road traffic etc. which can be hacked using Google so that you can view the images captured by those cameras in real time. All you have to do is use the following search query in Google. Type in Google search box exactly as follows and hit enter

    inurl:”viewerframe?mode=motion”
Click on any of the search results (Top 5 recommended) and you will gain access to the live camera which has full controls. You will see something as follows

As you can see in the above screenshot, you now have access to the Live cameras which work in real-time. You can also move the cameras in all the four directions, perform actions such as zoom in and zoom out. This camera has really a less refresh rate. But there are other search queries through which you can gain access to other cameras which have faster refresh rates. So to access them just use the following search query.

    intitle:”Live View / – AXIS”
Click on any of the search results to access a different set of live cameras. Thus you have hacked Security Cameras using Google.

    2. Hacking Personal and Confidential Documents

Using Google it is possible to gain access to an email repository containing CV of hundreds of people which were created when applying for their jobs. The documents containing their Address, Phone, DOB, Education, Work experience etc. can be found just in seconds.

    intitle:”curriculum vitae” “phone * * *” “address *” “e-mail”
You can gain access to a list of .xls (excel documents) which contain contact details including email addresses of large group of people. To do so type the following search query and hit enter.

    filetype:xls inurl:”email.xls”
Also it’s possible to gain access to documents potentially containing information on bank accounts, financial summaries and credit card numbers using the following search query

    intitle:index.of finances.xls

    3. Hacking Google to gain access to Free Stuffs

Ever wondered how to hack Google for free music or ebooks. Well here is a way to do that. To download free music just enter the following query on google search box and hit enter.

    “?intitle:index.of?mp3 eminem
Now you’ll gain access to the whole index of eminem album where in you can download the songs of your choice. Instead of eminem you can subtitute the name of your favorite album. To search for the ebooks all you have to do is replace “eminem” with your favorite book name. Also replace “mp3″ with “pdf” or “zip” or “rar”.

I hope you enjoy this post. Pass your comments. Cheers!
